At this price, quality is excellent, gives a seamless appearance to update and modernize any shower.

I have a hard time dropping down to 4 stars on this. I am going with 5 based on the material quality and the low price point compared to other options. There are some potential problems during install, which others have noted in lower star review. But, if you are confident in your plumbing abilities, it should be no problem to get installed and looking great. The two biggest things to watch out for: You need a 12 mm hex/allen key wrench in order to tighten the adapter into the wall bib (this is necessary to give this product it's seamless appearance when installed; if your wall bib (female threaded portion in your wall) is not within a narrow range of depth from the face of the wall then you will need an adapter. The adapter needs to sit in a pretty precise position relative to the face of the wall to ensure a seamless appearance and proper function without leaking. In my case, my wall bib was about an inch behind the wall face. I had to buy a 1/2" male x1/2" female x40mm brass fitting (on Amazon, none of the big box stores or Ace carried this). In my case I also had to trim down that additional 40mm brass fitting to about 35 mm to get everything just right. I wouldn't recommend that for a new DIYer, contact a plumber if you need help and aren't comfortable setting it up. Once I get the wall bib situated, this was a simple installation and it looks great, functions great, and feels high quality.
